q3 mouse no work

i installed q3 about 3 or 4 weeks ago its been running great then BAM! mouse stoped working for no reason ive had a 1 friend who had the same problem an another friend whos mouse didnt work at all our os is knoppix lastest release. anyone else have the same problem.

oh and i can click the mouse and it works but no movement :-/

Just to clarify - the mouse doesn't work in q3 or the mouse doesn't work at all?

the mouse just doesnt work in just q3 it works fine in kde and other wm's
