Q. moving /bin dir files to /dev dir??

If I were to decide to move several files out of the /bin directory and place them into the /dev directory; out of /etc to /usr, etc, what impact would my actions have on system users and processes?

It would probably just stop working, and you'd get loads of cant find errors, maybe even fail to boot properly ( espicially if you start messing with the /etc files ).

Basically dependant on what you moved the only option would be a Live CD to move things back again.
