Putty logging with Format

Hi ,

Am logging my Linux sessions with Putty and using windows Vim editor to read them . I am able to read them , but the format of logs are changing such as special characters ..

It not only happens with Vim ,but with other editors like textpad or wordpad. Is there any settings which we can set in Putty to have the "Unix" format in the logging..

You're using a Windows program, on Windows, to read a file...and are asking people on LINUXQuestions how to make it work? No ideas...you say "format of logs", but don't tell us WHAT logs, or how you're capturing them. There MAY Be some settings in Windows VIM, Textpad, or Wordpad, but those would be questions for folks who use those Windows programs. There isn't anything to set on a Linux system to make this work...this is all Windows related.
