I have assign quota tom ftp user, it work fine.
But how to check assign quato to a particular user?
I tried this command

pure-quotacheck -u ddd -d /home/soft/www/ddd

ddd is my user which i have assigned 5 MB disk space at the time of creation.

when run 'pure-pw show ddd' command it show the disk space 5mb.
and I also wanted how to update already assign quota?

Hi,
Quote:
I tried this command

pure-quotacheck -u ddd -d /home/soft/www/ddd
From the pure-quotacheck man page:
Quote:
pure-quotacheck create a .ftpquota file in the specified directory.
This file contains the current file and size of the directory, and it is used by Pure-FTPd when virtual quotas are enabled.
It's recommended to periodically run pure-quotacheck for every user, in crontabs.

You should run:
Code:
pure-pw usermod ddd -n 1000 -N 10
Here -n 1000 is the max numbers of files and -N 10 the quota (10M in this case)

Regards

If you want to see the assigned quota for a user, you can use:
Code:
pure-pw show ddd
You can also use
Code:
grep ddd /etc/pureftpd.passwd
The output should be something like that:
Quote:
ddd:$1$htvZOfx0$16Tp9A76rME4uBIaXf65M1:1020:1001::/var/ftp/ddd/./::::::10:5242880:::::
The 2 entries in bold are the max no of files and the assigned quota

Regards

You should use -N and/or -n with an empty argument, like this:
Code:
pure-pw usermod ddd -n '' -N ''
Of course you can edit /etc/pureftpd.passwd and delete the values of -n and -N, but better be formal
