Proxy + web content filtering software package?

Hi,

I have been doing some research regarding proxy and web content filtering software packages which are free. I have seen the following pacakges:

PfSense - installed but gave me trouble in configuring

Zentyal - very good software but has some limited functionality which I require

Untangle - does not contain a free proxy cache.

Don't know if there are other good packages out their please which I have missed? Thank you

Look at squid, it's the proxy of choice for most people and can do web filtering with several blacklist providers.
