Angry Proxy & port settings with WiFi Radar?

I want to use a free WiFi internet connection at a university library (USU in Medan, North Sumatra - the university is one of the only ways to get internet access without sharing a room with smokers).

WiFi Rader detected the signal, but couldn't get an IP address. Another user, on a Windows machine, showed me his setup: an http proxy was set (203.130.206.54) and a port was specified: 9378. It seems like I can't access a proxy setting in WiFi Radar.

In desperation I tried setting Manual network configuration, putting the proxy address in the "IP" box. Tried to connect, and this time it said it obtained an IP address, but I still couldn't connect to the net?

Any suggestions as to how to connect?

Chris
