programs on multiple displays

I set up my X server on my computer to work with XDMCP so i can log on to it on a nother computer. (currently im on the computer in my friends room running knoppx) but i want to know if i can run a single program on both of those comeputers.

What i want to do is run gaim, but if i start it here then it logs me off on the one in my room, and if i start it there it logs me off here. So can i have just one instance of it running on both displays?
