Program for drawing electronics schematic/circuit diagram

Hi,
is there any program available in Linux which would let me draw electronic schematic/circuit diagram? this can help me to upload schematics as a graphics file rather than an ascii file with lines ( using: --- or arrows ---> etc).
Thank you.
