Process dies when i try to browse mounted SAMBA windows share

I have the following problem - i mount succesfully a windows share under Fedora Core 2, but when I try to list the directory by "ls /mnt/win-pc" , ls doesn't return at all - I have each time to brutally reboot because i can't even unmount! And when I try with konqueror by smb:/win-pc/share I get the error saying that the process treating the protocol smb:/win-pc died in an unexpected way.

Does anybody know where is the problem?

Thanks
