Im not sure if Im right, but your application probably requires a .dll to run. I had fixed one of my errors in the similar way.

Hope it helps...

they're called .so (Shared Object) in GNU/Linux, but yeah.

And it *does* try to link with one, but fails:
Quote:
java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: /tmp/install.dir.10106/Linux/resource/jre/lib/i386/libawt.so: /tmp/install.dir.10106/Linux/resource/jre/lib/i386/libawt.so: cannot restore segment prot after reloc: Permission denied
I would guess the text should expand into 'cannot restore segment protection after relocation'. Why that is, I don't know.

Hey, this is pretty recent. Does anyone know the answer to the problem? I recently upgraded to FC4, and I am trying to install Zend Studio back onto it, but when I run the .bin file, it gives me the same error as above. I installed jre-1_5_0_04-linux-i586 as well as compat-libstdc++-7.3-2.96.126.i386.rpm, these were the only two files that I have found to have been suggested to take care of the problem, but neither have helped.

Thanks!

idk if this will help anyone out, but after some deeper searching, I finally found a suggestion to do this:

Code:
su
cd /usr/sbin
setenforce 0
after doing that, I ran the install, and it works fine. Hopefully if anyone else is getting this java error, this will solve it for you.
