Problems with directories when using a program that was zipped by PKzip

I have linux 7.1 and have zipped it and ftp it to my server. I have chmod my permissons so that I have full access to the file, but when I try to execute it I get a error message bash: no file or directory found. I know the file it self is correct because I made a test directory in my PKzip to test the file to see if it would untar correctly. Any ideas....
Thank you for your time..
