Problems installing Aethera 1.2 on Slack10.0

I've installed the dependency files as suggested by the sparse installation instructions on The Kompany's website, but when I run the rpm to install Aethera it indicates there are unmet dependencies referring to the kompany file that I thought I installed previously.
There is an rpm that includes the source but when I unpack it I don't know where it's going.

I installed the the dependency files using the install.sh script in the package.

I'm just getting back into Linux so I could be doing something blatantly wrong.

Any ideas?
Kevin

What were the depends and did you install them from rpm's too?

I try to stay away from rpm's on Slack that were built on a different system ( If you install too many it could cause problems) try linuxpackages.net first to see if they have it.

On the current package you are trying to install, use the command:

rpm2tgz <rpm file>

to change the rpm to a slackware package then install it with:

installpkg <package>
