Question Problem with ddd installation in Fedora 16?

I have downlaoded the ddd software (http://www.gnu.org/software/ddd/#About) using the yum install -y ddd command now what I dont know is how I run this tool.I did find the path where the source is there its in /usr/share/doc/ddd-3.3.12 as per teh instruction I have to run these three commands

./configure
make
make install

But I cannot find the ./configure in the path.Can someone tell me what I am missing or doing wrong.

Thanks for all the help.

Not required. 'yum install ddd' will do.

The command 'ddd' will open the "Data Display Debugger" GUI.

Or find it in the 'Applications Menu'.
( In KDE it's "Development > Data Display Debugger" )

.

Only when you are using an OS with no package ddd available.
Then the extraordinary option of compiling from source code can be used.

ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/ddd/ > ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/ddd/ddd-3.3.12.tar.gz
(cd Downloads/ && tar xvf ddd-3.3.12.tar.gz && cd ddd-3.3.12/ && ./configure, etc.)

.
