Problem with apache 2.0.48


We have 1 server in our office. We are running an application based on :
Apache version 2.0.48
PHP version 4.3.4
MySql version 4.0.18
The log file shows this errors :

[Tue Jan 04 19:50:33 2005] [error] server reached MaxClients setting, consider raising the MaxClients setting
[Tue Jan 04 20:04:14 2005] [warn] child process 11122 still did not exit, sending a SIGTERM

....

....

and apache hangs.
Can someone please help me on this ?

More details on your setup, the amount of users using this server, post your config, hardware specs.. and so on for better replies.
