Unhappy Problem when compiling autogenerated KDevelop application

When I try to compile an autogenerated KDevelop project, I get the following error:

/usr/lib/libkdeui.so: could not read symbols: File in wrong format
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[2]: *** [kde2] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/multimedia/projekt/kde2/src'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/multimedia/projekt/kde2'
make: *** [all] Error 2

configure works perfectly. The project is a simple Hello World from the IDE so I do not think this is an error due to errors in code (n' the use of ld tells me that too...)

I'm using FC4, KDE 3.4.2.0, x86_64

I suppose the problem lies within 64 and 32bit libraries....
