Problem running winex

I dled a tarball for winex, and installed it, and everything extracted where it was supposed to. However, when I try and run wine it throws this error:
Code:
winex: error while loading shared libraries: libntdll.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
so I did a search on my harddrive and found I actually have libntdll.so at ~/Programs/usr/lib/transgaming/winex/lib/libntdll.so, I'm not exactly sure why its there, but i did the following as root:
Code:
# ln -s /home/ryan/Programs/usr/lib/transgaming/winex/lib/libntdll.so /lib/libntdll.so
and tried to run wine again, this time I got a different error:

Code:
winex: error while loading shared libraries: /lib/libntdll.so: undefined symbol: casemap_lower
How can I fix this?
