Problem mounting NAS drive using fstab

Hello,

I try to mount a NAS drive (WDMYCLOUD) at boot time using this entry in fstab:
Code:
//192.168.1.19/Public /mnt/wdmycloud cifs user=,passwd=,rw,file_mode=0777,dir_mode=0777 0 0
For some reason this doesn't work. The command:
Code:
sudo mount -va
respond with "successfully mounted", but I still acn't access the drive. However, this one works perfectly from console after boot:
Code:
sudo mount -t cifs -o user=,passwd=,rw,file_mode=0777,dir_mode=0777 //192.168.1.19/Public /mnt/wdmycloud/
My distro is raspberry pi jessie. What am I missing?

TIA

Just a guess - perhaps the network is not up when the mount is attempted.

Hello,

Thanks for answering. Yes, I did some digging and this it true, the network is still down when mount executes. It seems the way to mount a NAS drive is to write an upstart script that will execute when network is up.
