problem installing linpus linux 8.2

Hello every one. am having a problem installing Linux linpus 8.2 on my machine. Here is the error i get as soon as the installation starts:

open/dev/fb0:no such device
installation exited abnormally
sending termination signals...done
...

can u please assist me, what can i do?

Hello tmubiro, welcome to LQ,

please tell us why of all things it must be Linpus??? As far as I know it is based on an other ouddated Linux-distribution.

Which computer do you have, please provide some information about the hardware (RAM, processor), then we'll see which distribution is the best for your machine.
