Problem installing artwiz fonts..

I read the readme and did everything it said. I installed them to /usr/share/fonts. The fonts don't show up in any program. I've even run kcontrol center for kde and looked in the fonts section and they are there and enabled. Sorry for being so vaque but I don't know what other information I can give you. I'm running Debian 3.1 if that helps.

In Slackware I do (stolen from a post here on linuxpackages.net):

/usr/X11R6/bin/mkfontscale /usr/share/fonts/
/usr/X11R6/bin/mkfontdir /usr/share/fonts/
/usr/X11R6/bin/mkfontdir -e 
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/encodings
/usr/X11/bin/fc-cache

and then restart the x-server
