Unhappy Problem getting pthread to work in fedora 22....

Hello,
I have been trying to get pthreads to work for some hours now. I tried codeblocks but it installed without the compilers. Further reading about the issue has led me to think it already comes with this version of linux. Am still unsure though but if you can be of help I will greatly appreciate it.

?? what???

fedora 22 has gcc 5.1 ( not many things will YET build with it, it is SO NEW after all. )

again What reading ?????

and what issues
pthreads or gcc

and are you porting old code to Fedora 22 or MS windows code to linux

make sure that the fedora development software group is installed
( as per basically every fedora guide)
on 21 it is
Code:
yum --groupinstall "Development Tools"
with the move to using DNF -- should still be about the same

https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Yum_to_DNF_Cheatsheet
http://linuxmanpages.net/manpages/fe...an8/dnf.8.html
Code:
su -
dnf group install ???????

I really don't see any help in your thread. Well another form of the question is how do I get pthreads to work with gedit or emacs (or any of the linux compilers) for that matter...
