Question Problem exporting NFS with symbolic links

I had to move my www directory to another drive for more space.

So what I did for /var/www was create a symbolic link:

ls -l /var/www
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 13 Aug 30 14:28 /var/www -> /mnt/Raid/www

In the export file it pointing to /var/www/netboot/images-squashfs

grep netboot /etc/exports
/var/www/netboot/images-squashfs *(ro,sync,no_wdelay,no_root_squash)

The problem is when I look at the exports or try to mount it the mount point's changed:

showmount -e
/mnt/Raid/www/netboot/images-squashfs *

How do I stop this from happening?

Lightbulb

Managed to find my own answer: bind mount

I put this in the fstab and mounted it:

/mnt/Raid/www /var/www bind defaults,bind 0 0
