Printing to PS printer fails after Fedora upgrade
Hello, everyone. I'm in the middle of a really strange problem. I have an HP LaserJet 4050 postscript printer attached to a PC running FedoraCore1. I share this printer through samba to about 10 Windows2000 and WindowsXP PCs. Before upgrading to FedoraCore1, I ran RedHat 7 (using LPRNG as a print server) and the Windows PCs had no problem printing to the printer. Since upgrading to Fedora (using CUPS), I'm having some strange printing problems. Appoximatly 1/2 of the PCs (half Win2000 and half WinXP) print via samba just fine and 1/2 don't. The half that fail end up printing the postscript file out in ascii.
All of the PCs are using the correct postscript driver for the LJ4050 and remember, all of PCs printed fine to the printer under RH7/LRPNG. Any ideas? Thanks for any help.
