Question Printer notification for cups queue with GNOME.

I have problems if the printer notification applet not showing anything when printing to a cups queue. (if I start eggcups with -d I get among other things: "[sync_state] ec-tray-icon.c:996 (12:28:52): 0 jobs outstanding", even if i have jobs pending...)

Is this normal ? I would like to check easily the status of the jobs (not using lpq or lpstat).

If this is the case does any applet exists for gnome to do this job ?

Thanks in advance.
