pleeease help

i'm running mandrake 8.2

i went to the software manager and was trying to install something off of disc 1 of the download edition...problem is my /mnt/cdrom is currently not working...

so i decide i can just change the path to it...i change it to /mnt/cdrom2, which is the path to my other cdrom...

but now it won't even list any installable files from disc 1, 2, or 3....

i check the path to disc 1, change it back to where it was, but it still won't read it, every time i go back to check it off as a source to check, it's unchecked...and disc 2 and 3 aren't even listed as sources....

my head's about to explode if i think about this problem any longer...

please be so kind as to help me get back to normal....
