Planing a minor tweak

OK, so I have to manual fsck this unstable harddrive alot... I'm considering moving /sbin/sulogin elsewhere (backup) and making /sbin/sulogin a shell script that calls e2fsck -v -y /dev/hda1 out of pure laziness.
Just curious if others have tried this, or any alternative suggestions before I use Linux's openness?

Wouldn't you just be better just creating an alias:

alias chkdisk="e2fsck -v -y /dev/hda1"
