PiBakery for Ubuntu

Hi Everyone
I'm looking a software that could configure Raspberry pi SD card under Ubuntu. Actually I could able to partition with fdisk and flash with dd SD cards but after all I need every time HD tv connection and usb keyboard to setup wife hostname ect. Is it possible to change some files like /etc/hostname etc?
Thanks.

Most image files for the pi are pre-installed i.e. a full operating system.

Once the image is copied to the SD card via dd you can mount the / partition and change the configuration files just like any desktop distribution. The root partition for raspbian is on partition 7 as an example.

No need to partition the SD card prior to copying the image file since anything existing will be overwritten anyway.

I don't really understand what do you mean by that. But actually you can put it (the SD card) into a card reader and use it like a normal disk. Just mount a partition and use. Nothing strange. (At least I think).
