permissions and ownership on dir


I backed up on a vfat external harddisk my gnupg keys.I restored it and put it in my home dir , restoring also ownership and permissions but something of weerd is happening :

I think it is all self explenatory ....

For some reason the .gnupg directory (listed as current directory) has no executable permissions. First, try to change them with
Code:
chmod u+x .gnupg
and then issue the ll command again.

As far as you know is any how i can import my secret key from a keyserver ...

I know basis of gnupg , what i wonder to know is if i lost my secret key i always used to sign other's people public key,is anyway i can recover it from the public one i have stored on the keyserver?
