peer to peer


hi folk's

which software is needed for peer to peer downloading


i am a novice in linux so please ........

explain

currently i am using suse 10.0

You can use rtorrent for BitTorrent downloads. It's console application which can monitor a directory and start downloading when you drop a .torrent into it. It also has ability to stop torrents when seeded to some ratio. Setup is done through configuration file which is well commented. If you use it with screen, you can still download even when you are not logged on (just detach the screen ctrl+a;d).

Ktorrent is BitTorrent application written using Qt (for KDE).

There are others, but i didn't try them.
