PDF issue

Hi,

I have quite a bit of PDF eBooks. I use Acrobat Reader 7.0 and xpdf to view these.

In Acrobat Reader, the pages of the file are readed slowly. For example, it takes almost 5 seconds to read a long page. But, when I tried it under Win XP it is fast.

XPDF on the other hand is fast at reading the files. But, it does not allow me to copy the text from eBooks. When, I googled, I came to know that it was due to the security settings. Is there anyway to override this restriction??

Also, how can I make acroread to read my docs faster??
