Patching a Raspberry Pi kernel, using Git Repository

Trying to patch my Kernel to get a driver working for a TFT display for my Raspberry Pi, which is running “wheezy” (Debian)

I have looked through here, but I am still a bit confused;
http://forums.debian.net/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=36525

I have been told that the patch is here;
https://github.com/kamalmostafa/raspberrypi-linux

However, this looks like it is the whole source as well. Do I just download using GIT and compile it?

I was assuming that I would have had to download the source for 3.2.27, then download a view patch files and replace these in the source.

Info for the patch is here;
http://www.whence.com/rpi/

thanks in advance!

I suppose you would just download the patched kernel source and compile, although I'm surprised he didn't provide a patch for the main kernel branch. Hopefully he'll submit the patch to the kernel eventually.
