Palm software set-up problem

I am using Xandros which comes with the Palm Pilot software already installed. When I try to configure it to match my Palm, the default is one of the computer's serial ports. My unit attaches by a USB port. How do I configure this successfully?

Which Palm clone do you have-jpilot, kpilot, etc?. In the setup, there should be a tab or space to give the location of the device. If you are using USB then it will be /dev/ttyS0. If you are using devfs its something like /dev/usb/usb0 (not sure, read about naming under devfs).

Good Luck
