Outlook question


Well i have been using mandrake for a few months now and i am wondering, how do i port my outlook database from my laptop onto my desktop? Outlook runs quite slow on my laptop and once i actually port my information onto my linux box i will have more incentive to learn how to do stuff on it like sync my axim...

well. it depends on what e-mail client you want to use.. softwares like CrossOver office allows you to install windows software directly in Linux.. wine can also be used. (crossover office uses wine as backend). if you are trying to run outlook in Linux, then it is still not supported.. as i know.

Try this program:
http://outport.sourceforge.net/

It can export from Outlook to Evolution. If you want to export from Outlook Express to Evolution, I guess that you could do that by first importing it in Outlook.
