openSUSE leap installed beside Windows 10 - Only options upon reboot are Windows 10 or Re-install opensuse

Hey All - I've installed opensuse leap 42.3 next to Windows 10. Upon rebooting (and F2), I only get the options of starting Windows or opensuse Installer...but it's already installed! I cannot launch it as the only option is to run the installer again. How do I change this option and/or launch opensuse leap 42.3? Any help is greatly appreciated. - R

Hello and welcome to LQ.

I know some distro's require you to do a reboot and finish installer but doubt this is the case.

Guess I'll have to ask how you installed it? From a DVD? Did you remove the DVD?

Hmm, good point. Yes, it was a DVD, I didn't take it out, but the options ("buttons") say "Windows 10" and "opensuse installer". I'll try removing DVD & hitting the "opensuse installer" button. - Thanks

Nothing, still acts like it's installing opensuse even when DVD is removed. Won't launch opensuse, simply tries to re-install.

Dual boot is fine - I have only one system that is not dual-booted. That being a system where the Win10 Commermerative (?) update crapped out, so it's now Fedora only.
As for OpenSUSE being a new-user friendly system, things must have changed sine I made this post. Unfortunately I can't help with the OPs issue.
