Search your hard drive for the missing libraries, they might be somewhere after all, and either physically move them to where OpenOffice expects to find them or make symlinks and place those instead. If you do not have the libraries on your computer, well, I have had luck googling for needed libraries. They are all out there somewhere and I've not had one moment's trouble finding a needed morsel.

Any idea why again the following?
Quote:
BT / # find . -iname libuno_sal.so
find: Filesystem loop detected; `./mnt/hda' has the same device number and inode as a directory which is 2 levels higher in the filesystem hierarchy.

Do you have hda mounted in two places?
Code:
cat /etc/mtab
have you tried running fsck?

tmpfs / tmpfs rw 0 0
proc /proc proc rw 0 0
sysfs /sys sysfs rw 0 0
devpts /dev/pts devpts rw,gid=5,mode=620 0 0
/dev/hda /mnt/hda ext2 rw 0 0
usbfs /proc/bus/usb usbfs rw 0 0
i didnt procced to fsck for obvious reason
Quote:
BT manos # fsck
fsck 1.38 (30-Jun-2005)
e2fsck 1.38 (30-Jun-2005)
/dev/hda is mounted.

WARNING!!! Running e2fsck on a mounted filesystem may cause
SEVERE filesystem damage.

Do you really want to continue (y/n)? no

Well if your not using /mnt/hda for your system or any running processes,
you can umount /dev/hda, then run e2fsck. Or you could probably set it up to run at next boot before it mounts it.

While were on the subject, how can you mount /dev/hda? Isn't that an entire HDD device. Shouldn't you be looking to mount /dev/hda1, etc..
Is this off a livecd boot?
(this might be some weird slackware thing, I don't know about. Only tried it out a couple times)
