OpenOffice 3.1 anti-aliased fonts?

Hello all

I installed Kubuntu 9.04, configured it perfectly etc.
Then i decided to install OpenOffice. To my surprise, the default OOffice in the repositories also installs pulseaudio, which i wouldn't have. So i downloaded the proper deb files for the OO home site, installed it - all OK, except that i do not have anti-aliased fonts, not in the OO menus, not in any of the OO applications.

Any ideas?

Hello eyeprotocol

OOo uses its own fonts, or at least did in version 2.4.x. If you want it to use other fonts then run /usr/lib/openoffice/program/spadmin, choose Fonts, Add and browse to each /usr/share/fonts/ subdirectory with fonts you want OOoo to use, select "Create soft links only" and All (as required) and click OK.

Hope this still works in the version of OOo you are using.

Best

Charles
