Unhappy opening eog as slideshow from command line?


hi all..

is it possible to open eog from the commandline as slideshow ? if yes then wats the command for it ?
i tried to find it but cudnt..

also, if eog cant be opened as slideshow from the commandline, is there another image viewer using which it wud be possible to view ALL images in the folder one by one just by a single command in the command line ?

looks like gqview does. gqview -s, or gqview -s -f for full screen.
