Angry op.off. wrong lang at Bold-Italics buttons

hi there.

on mandrake9 i have openoffice101.
at oowriter, instead of the B button (bold),
there is an F button. instead of I (italics)
button, there is a K (button).

they told me these initials are for german
language. i do not want the F or K buttons.
i want B for bold, I for italics. i installed
my distro using greek language. i use greek
and english. why is dispalyed in german.

the most important: how do i correct this?
i tried from TOOLS > SETTINGS and
TOOLS > ADJUSTMENTS but nothing.
i also tried to right click on toolbars > edit
but the B button-icon or the I, were not on the list.

and another small question. how do i change the default
font at oo calc, oodraw etc? i only manage to change
the default font for oowriter from TOOLS > SETTINGS...

thanks in advance
