oOo --> that handy faster startup proggie

There is a proggie which "pulls a microsoft" and preloads some of the libs for oOo at startup, so that oOo loads much faster as a result. I tried to install it, in RH 8.0 using KDE, but it bombed out, apparently the Gnome 2.0 does not have some libs from old gnome that are neccessary for that program to work.

Did anyone manage to install this proggie in 8.0, or is there another one that does something similiar. oOo takes like 30s to open, and it kills me when I have that splashscreen on my screen and I can't even do anything else.

Any ideas?

I downloaded OOo 1.1 beta, both Linux and Windows versions. The Linux version seems solid as a rock. It doesn't load any quicker but at least you get a progress bar to keep you amused!
