Nvidia driver problem

Hi,
I have a problem with nvidia drivers. I have got Battlefield Vietnam installed on Fedora Core 5. Geforce 6800gt.
I messed up the nvidia driver installation, and did it two ways by accident.
Any idea how i could resolve this?:

I read about a "module-assistant" package for debian, but i don't think it exists for fedora.

Is there anyway to fix this annoying problem?
So close to launching BFV, the videos come up, and bam... No 3d...

Hm..I don't have nvidia card anymore, but when I did, I always installed the driver from the nvidia web site, not any prepackaged .deb or any other such "binary"thing.

Try removing all the nvidia drivers, perhaps even booting after it, and then reinstalling the driver downloaded from the nvidia website; it might ask you (it always asked me) if you want to compile the driver if it can't find a suitable package for your kernel, which should compile the kernel module and client to the same version.

Thanks mate, but I just managed right then to fix the problem myself
I did a yum remove kmod-nvidia, and then installed the driver from the nvidia site again.

(i didn't use an .deb stuff, but there was a debian package supposed to fix that conflict)
