notifications spam from unknown program[s] XFCE, maybe firefox?
I'm getting much greater XFCE notification spam (weight loss etc) recently.
Unable to track where the notifications are coming from.
I've checked XFCE notifications and applications
and have turned on the log (so I'll wait and see)
I'm diligent under Firefox to block notifications unless the source is well known.
Is there a way to view which sites are allowed notifications under FF.
Is logging notifications the best way to track down the source of the spam?
I've enabled XFCE notification logging and the culprit (so far) is Firefox
for example
Code:
[2019-04-04T15:02:12]
app_name=Firefox
summary=Your PC is infected!
body=Click to see more details
app_icon=dcad3f84168dcd69bb78706b64702e66
expire-timeout=8000
action-id-0=default
action-label-0=Activate
