Not Enough Disk Space
Todays problem for you guy`s....
I have a newish Laptop which I am installing Suse 7.2 on ( or not ). After running scandisk and defragging I booted from my Suse instsall CD, it checks system then says if you want to dual boot you must shrink the windows partition as its not got enough space to put minimum Suse setup on.
Strange as I have 2.5 gig free. I click on next to go to graphical windows resizer but then just get error stating not enough free space. I installed on my desktop PC without this problem although its runnng Win98 not Win ME like the Laptop..
Anyone got any great ideas,I`m working 12 hour shifts so I just aint got time to scan the net all night at the moment..
Cheers to all,,appreciate answers , sorry for being a pest but you got to find out somewhere.
All the best from Sunny Scotland. Gretna-Green.

Cheers, I will take P-Tragic to work tonight and try it during a quiet spell.
I expected the Linux installer to shrink the partition for me though as my full c:drive was fat32 on my home system and it grabbed a slice of that o.k
No harm in trying though and I`ve got all night ( no bosses going about on the night shift ).
Thanks,,,
