[SOLVED] nodejs, nodejs-dev incompatibility in Ubintu?

Recently Ubuntu ( precise ) Amazon EC2 instances have started failing. We use chef recipes to load nodejs and nodejs-dev, but startup fails due to version incompatibilities.

A simple 'apt-get install nodejs nodejs-dev' results in:

nodejs-dev : Depends: nodejs (= 0.8.22-1chl1~precise1) but 0.10.0-2chl1~precise1 is to be installed
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

And it looks like nodejs 0.8 is not in the apt repo, and nodejs-dev 0.10 is not there as well. Anyone else seen this?

Turns out there was a add-apt-repository command to make use of ppa:chris-lea/blah blah. And there has been recent work there in shuffling stuff around amongst node.js, node.js-legacy and node.js-devel.

Removing the add repository stuff and using what versions are in the default ubuntu repo fixed that error.
