Hello,

I have the newest Ubuntu (is it 12.4?). My speakers are working and I hear sound on my computer (this is a pc), but I hear no sounds on YouTube and or any other videos online.
Another problem is not being able to watch TV shows online, for example, Supernatural or Haven. No videos load on their sites.
Do I need specific add-ons for online sound and certain videos (I do see videos, with no sound, on YouTube, but not TV shows) or do I need certain settings? I tried to download software for videos but could not find a program to open it. (It may have been the wrong software for Ubuntu too) I am not very pc savvy.

Do you have flashplugin installed ?

Thank you for the information. I could not find a link (or a mention of flashplugin) where to download the flashpugin on the page where your link took me to.

I downloaded Adobe yesterday and I still don't see the videos on TV sites. Is there anything that I can do?

Do you know which format the videos are, on those sites? If they use, eg. Windows Media, you won't be able to see them.
