No module named qtext error when trying to run eric3

I am running Fedora Core 1 and using the default Python installation and PyQT and sip from up2date, I tried installing the RPM for eric3. Also, I installed the rpm for qscintilla.

Anyway, I get this error when trying to run eric3.

[jvilla@in-hoc-vince jvilla]$ eric3
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/lib/python2.2/site-packages/eric3/eric3.py", line 20, in ?
import Preferences
File "/usr/lib/python2.2/site-packages/eric3/Preferences/__init__.py", line 24, in ?
from qtext import QextScintilla
ImportError: No module named qtext
[jvilla@in-hoc-vince jvilla]$

I've tried searching google for something on this but to no avial.
