Hi,
I'm using Mandrake 10 (VERY new to Linux). I've installed Evolution and quite like the look. I can send mail via my usual mail SMTP BUT cannot locate IMAP4 as an option to allow me to contact my Fastmail account.
I realise this sounds strange and I've not found anyone else with the same question/problem (I'm happy for you to redirect me if you have). I have an option only for IMAP.
Latest IMAP version IS supported under latest version of Evolution. This is important because it correctly interacts with fastmail boxes, correctly marking messages read/unread when access in the evolution client. It doesn't do this is you simply select IMAP, which, again, is a separate option in the latest version of Evolution.
Glad to see some old posts are answered as well ) I'd forgotten all about this one.
