NFS via drbd question

Is it possible to present only one NFS share on one clustered DRBD node and export and import it to another one in case of failure? Or for DRBD to work in NFS, NFS share should be assigned to both nodes and do background replication?

Is this an existing deployment that you'll be modifying? Or are you in the planning / pre-install stages?

If the latter: I have a different (arguably better) suggestion.

If the former: the short answer is you can set up an active-passive cluster (with your IP, NFS service, and DRBD filesystem as resources) using whatever the latest pile of software in the Linux HA stack is. It's painful to configure, and difficult to troubleshoot, IMO. Not something I can provide advice on.

Thanks for the response. I am not looking for a NFS share to serve clients but rather to mount a NFS share from a server. This will be on DRBD setup and if it failed over, somehow it should be mounted to the other node. The only feasible way I can think of is to include a script alongside the drbd to mount it to the other node.
