new to linux, can I install audio programs written for windows

I have just started using linux and at the moment am using lycoris desktop lx, I have tried mandrake 10 and had some problems so I got rid of it. I am trying to install audio programs Ableton Live, cubase sx , native instruments ( absynth, reaktor etc and I keep getting a dll error .. what can I do/ is there anything I can do ? lycoris comes with a wine program and starts the install and get about 85% through and then the error appears. ???

here's the error ( post #3)

the file c/windows/stdole2.tlb could not be opened. please check that your disk is not full and that you have access to the destination directory.
