Network not found with Fedora 14 LXDE spin

I just installed the LXDE spin on my computer and it works fine, except that I cannot see the network around I am on. Firefox and other programs run fine, but when I try to use the file manager to go to the network:///, I don't even see the Windows network icon.
I have checked the /var/log files and I see a lot of error messages. The lxdm.log file give three times lines like this:
Code:
(lxdm-greeter-gtk:7499): GdkPixbuf-CRITICAL **: gdk_pixbuf_new_from_file_at_scale: assertion `filename != NULL' failed
When starting the samba deamon, I get:
Code:
smbd -Fi
smbd version 3.5.6-71.fc14 started.

The netstat output is:
Code:
netstat -napt

The samba error log file looks much like the one in http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...ablish-854498/

Thanks in advance,

Arno

I solved the problem by installing the standard Fedora 14 distribution. Never install the LXDE spin unless you are good at debugging !
