need to turn off Vsync for WoW.........

i am running WoW using cedega on gentoo kernel 2.6.12r6 using opengl graphics.
i am trying to turn off vertical sync for WoW but of course if i try from ingame it crashes.
i have checked the WoW config.wtf file and can find no entries for vertical sync. does anyone know what line i need to add to turn this off? or am i looking in the wrong place?

Open the config.wtf file, and add the line:

SET gxVSync "0"

(as per the troubleshooting file "...World\ of\ Warcraft\Documentation\Troubleshooting\(PC)VideoProblems.html")

HTH!
