I recently switched to Knoppix, but am unable to find a driver for printer Cannon MF4450. The Cannon web site gives only one driver for linux, but Knoppix will not accept .rah files. Any ideas?
The first link below gives detailed instructions on installing Knoppix to a hard drive or a flash drive. Knoppix could be installed to a hard drive in the past but the problems with it are explained at the knoppix.net site, second link below The second link below explains why you will have problems with installing Knoppix this way unless you are a " hard core experienced Linux user".
Many thanks to both replys. I tried and tried to get cannon to work to no avail. I finally swapped printers from my other system which had a HP laserjet. Fired right up with CUPS. And my cannon is happliy printing on windows machine.
